Doctor of Ministry/Doctor of Educational Ministry

Depending upon the seminary or divinity school you attend, a student in the Doctor of Ministry/Doctor of Educational Ministry program may be considered for a grant in the amount of $3,000 to $4,000 per year for up to three years.  Please see the tab for Eligible Seminaries and Divinity schools.  

Interested students must submit the Doctor of Ministry (DMIN)/Doctor of Educational Ministry (DEDMIN) application available online.  Please see the link to the application

  • Grants are available only to citizens of the United States.
  • You must be a resident of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee or West Virginia
  • Students must have lived in one of these states for a minimum of twelve months immediately prior to entering any educational institution.  You cannot establish residency while you are a student.   The Trustees reserve the right to determine residency.
     
  • The deadline for submitting an application for the DMIN/Doctor of Educational Ministry grant is May 1 for fall and spring semesters and November 1 for spring semester only.
  • Applicant must be in the Baptist ministry or have plans to be employed in Baptist ministry.  
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
