Doctor of Ministry

Depending upon the seminary or divinity school you attend, a student in the Doctor of Ministry program may be considered for a grant in the amount of $3,000.00 to $4,000.00 per year for up to three years. Please see the tab for Eligible Seminaries and Divinity Schools.  

Interested students must submit the Doctor of Ministry (DMIN) application available online.  Please see the link to the application

  • Grants are available only to citizens of the United States.
  • You must be a resident of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee or West Virginia
  • Students must have lived in one of these states for a minimum of twelve months immediately prior to entering any educational institution.  You cannot establish residency while you are a student.   The Trustees reserve the right to determine residency.
     
  • The deadline dates for submitting an application for the DMIN grant are May 1st and November 1st.
  • Applicant must be in the Baptist ministry or have plans to be employed in Baptist ministry.  
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
